Nope, this isn't an April Fool?s joke, this is Project Glass from Google, the brand new sci-fi-inspired headwear. It's in the prototype stages, but we think it looks pretty cool, the perfect merger between tech and fashion. This quirky combination makes it Most Wanted's latest one to watch.
They may look normal, but look closely and they house a small video screen on the right hand lens, which features a heads-up display choc-full of information. Sounds a bit like something you'd see in The Terminator if you ask us.
According to a brief promotional video, the glasses display the weather, reminders and location information, not to mention incoming messages. The funky looking specs also feature a microphone, allowing users to respond to texts, enquire about their surroundings and even order tickets and items online.
We can't imagine they'll be released anytime soon, regardless of Google?s decision to unveil them, but with Apple, Microsoft and Sony patenting similar technology, it looks like we've got a race on our hands. Maybe next year we?ll all be going to Specsavers.
