Today I want to cover a few of the common words that you're going to hear tons when entering the internet marketing business. A large amount of ?Gurus? throw the words around in their sales videos/letters expecting you to grasp what they mean. I know when I started out I would hear a number of these words and it literally sounded like Chinese. These terms are in no definite order.
1.Domain name: This is the name of your internet site. Www.example.com. It?s as simple as that.
2. Domain Registrar: This is where you will be buying your domain names from. Basically this is a firm who is authorized to sell site names. Two very hip Domain Name Registrars would be Namecheap.com and Godaddy.com
3. Hosting: This is essentially the home of your internet site. Where all your files are stored. If you make a web site, ebook, video, you'll be uploading this informtion with your FTP programme (outlined below) into your hosting account. One of the more preferred hosting provider is HostGator. 7. WordPress: This is one of the hottest platforms for blogs. WordPress is a highly customisable platform and permits internet designers to get super creative and non designers also set up a straightforward internet site.
